Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and operate scalable software and AI-powered agent services for AWS sellers and partners.
- Build and integrate LLM-backed agents, MCP integrations, and orchestration workflows using Salesforce and internal AWS data sources.
- Own features end to end, including design, implementation, code review, deployment, and operational support.
- Write clean, well-tested code; participate in code reviews; and uphold engineering and operational-excellence standards.
- Troubleshoot production issues, participate in on-call, and improve service reliability, latency, and cost.
- Contribute to architecture, technical-debt reduction, AI-augmented development practices, and engineering productivity.
- Collaborate with product managers, senior engineers, and partner teams to turn ambiguous requirements into maintainable solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across the engineering community.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- At least 3 years of full software development life-cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Experience with AWS platforms, services, and design patterns.
- Experience working with customers and delivering exceptional service, or strong customer-service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience mentoring or training engineers on complex technical issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent is preferred.
- Must meet or exceed Amazon’s leadership-principles requirements for the role.
