Base Salary
$142k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of complex application systems and data solutions.
- Design and implement data migration strategies across on-premise infrastructure, AWS, and GCP.
- Build and optimize high-performance data pipelines and integration solutions.
- Apply cloud-native principles and best practices for scalability, reliability, security, and compliance.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
- Define technical requirements, architectural patterns, and innovative solutions with cross-functional teams.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging AI technologies into application landscapes and support the firm's AI strategy.
- Proactively manage technical risks and ensure adherence to architectural blueprints and industry standards.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of hands-on software development experience, focused on backend systems, data engineering, or cloud-native applications.
- Expert-level proficiency in Java and Python.
- Experience designing large-scale data migrations and robust data pipelines across hybrid cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of AWS, GCP, and cloud infrastructure services.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Gemini, OpenAI, Claude, Llama, and prompt engineering concepts.
- Experience or familiarity with RESTful APIs, Kafka, PostgreSQL, vector databases, FastAPI, asynchronous programming, production APIs, and monitoring.
- Exceptional problem-solving ability and a record of delivering innovative technical solutions.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, communication, and technical collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
