Responsibilities
- Develop C++ software for mapping visualization, sensor networks, street navigation, and related applications.
- Build and enhance C++ core components through game engine plugins and API/UI layers.
- Apply software design patterns, development methodologies, documentation, and deployment practices.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product engineers, and product managers throughout development.
- Develop unit tests for software components using test frameworks.
- Work in a small Agile Scrum team and continue developing technical skills through study, training, and collaboration.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of commercial, or equivalent scale and complexity, C++ software development experience.
- Fluency in modern C++ standards, including C++11, C++14, C++17, and C++20, and associated technologies such as STL, Boost, Clang, and MSVC.
- Object-oriented design skills and understanding of algorithms and design patterns.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and build quality software in an evolving environment.
- Effective time management, organizational, and writing skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, mapping, GIS, or a related field.
- Existing work authorization for Spain.
- Preferred experience with IDEs, compilers, and development tools for Linux, Windows, macOS, iOS, or Android.
- Preferred knowledge of 3D graphics, Unity or Unreal Engine, GIS applications or concepts, and OpenGL, DirectX, Vulkan, or Metal.
- Preferred experience with value-based, data-oriented, multithreading, parallelisation, functional, or compile-time design approaches.
- A master’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, GIS, or a related field is preferred.
