Responsibilities
- Drive Cyberbank Core's software architecture and systems forward.
- Develop software and set high quality standards for teams.
- Define boundaries, APIs, and integrations for technical success.
- Solve complex engineering problems in a regulated banking environment.
- Lead design, planning, and execution of large-scale projects.
- Design and implement scalable, secure SaaS services and data pipelines.
- Identify broader problems and opportunities for system improvements.
- Mentor and coach individuals and teams across the company.
- Advise leadership on technical strategy and organizational structure.
- Drive operational excellence initiatives across the department.
- Champion improvements in code, design, and operational reviews.
Requirements
- 10+ years of programming experience with mastery of software development.
- Advanced expertise in large-scale fault-tolerant distributed systems.
- Experience with continuous delivery principles and techniques.
- Deep expertise in cloud-based solutions, particularly AWS.
- High standards for software quality and experience improving legacy systems.
- Strong judgment in making critical decisions.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration across teams.
- Experience in a regulated industry.
- Experience with banking backends is a plus.
- Bi-lingual Spanish/English required.
