Base Salary
$195k - $293k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the technical roadmap for the Integrations platform.
- Design and implement public and private APIs, webhooks, connectivity, and automation workflows.
- Lead software design and systems architecture as a hands-on technical expert.
- Use AWS services to build scalable and maintainable integration workflows.
- Evaluate and integrate Salesforce, Workato, Zapier, and other third-party platforms.
- Analyze, diagnose, and prevent performance and scale problems.
- Mentor engineers through design reviews, pair programming, incident reviews, and technical coaching.
- Champion AI-assisted development tools and promote deployment and operational excellence.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience focused on backend and systems integration, including APIs, GraphQL, webhooks, TypeScript, AWS, and MySQL.
- At least 2 years of experience operating as a Staff Software Engineer.
- Strong and varied startup experience.
- Expertise designing robust APIs and scalable integration architectures.
- Experience with performance analysis, application performance monitoring, and log analytics tools such as NewRelic and BugSnag.
- Proficiency in at least two of Node.js, Python, and Java.
- Strong AWS experience, especially with Glue, Step Functions, Lambda, and SQS/SNS.
- Strong Terraform experience for infrastructure as code.
- Demonstrated deployment expertise, operational excellence, pragmatic technical decision-making, and a product mindset.
- Strong mentoring orientation.
- Preferred experience with Salesforce integrations, NPC, NPSP, Experience Cloud, CRM products, and AI development tools.
- Working experience with PHP Laravel.
