Responsibilities
- Receive, prioritize, troubleshoot, and resolve SAP Fiori/UI5, Launchpad, OData, and SAP Gateway incidents and service requests.
- Enhance and maintain SAP standard and custom Fiori/UI5 applications using SAP-supported extension techniques.
- Investigate authorization errors, application defects, Launchpad configuration issues, browser and debugging issues, and performance problems.
- Perform regression testing and validate fixes and enhancements for application stability and usability.
- Coordinate with functional consultants, ABAP developers, Basis, security, and integration teams to resolve defects and interface dependencies.
- Perform root cause analysis and support permanent corrective actions for recurring issues.
- Support approved changes, testing, transport preparation, release activities, hypercare, and cutover.
- Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
Requirements
- 4+ years of SAP development experience, including hands-on SAP Fiori/UI5 development.
- Experience extending SAP standard Fiori applications with SAP-supported enhancement techniques.
- Strong technical knowledge of SAPUI5, SAP Fiori, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, XML Views, JSON, and responsive design.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori Launchpad, SAP Gateway, and OData services.
- Basic ABAP knowledge for troubleshooting backend implementations and collaborating with backend developers.
- Strong experience with ITSM processes, ticket handling, incident management, change management, and structured troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of SAP authorizations, debugging tools, browser developer tools, application logs, interfaces, and integration monitoring.
- Strong analytical skills, customer orientation, and clear communication in English.
- Preferred experience with SAP BTP, Fiori Elements, CDS Views, RAP, Git/GitHub, SAP Business Application Studio, Git-based workflows, CI/CD, or DevOps practices.
- SAP Fiori/UI5 or SAP BTP certification and German, Spanish, or Mandarin language skills are additional advantages.
- Knowledge of multilingual application development and SAP translation/i18n concepts is desirable.
