Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Design and implement large-scale, distributed, cloud-native systems with high reliability and performance requirements.
- Provide technical leadership across multiple teams and shape system architecture, platform roadmaps, and long-term technology direction.
- Deliver cloud-based solutions in collaboration with digital product managers and product leaders.
- Mentor engineers, support professional development, and participate in internal and external technology communities.
- Lead architectural design reviews, establish coding standards and design patterns, and influence enterprise-wide technical standards.
- Implement observability and reliability practices and optimize performance bottlenecks in distributed systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 6 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred: master’s degree, 9+ years coding with multiple listed languages, and substantial experience with open-source frameworks, front-end frameworks, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automated testing, and Git-based version control.
- Preferred: experience troubleshooting cloud environments, mentoring senior engineers, leading architectural reviews, establishing coding standards, implementing observability and reliability practices, and influencing technology strategy.
- Experience with modern AI-based coding tools, interactive AI productivity tooling, cross-functional engineering efforts, or large-scale technical initiatives.
