Responsibilities
- Deliver platform capabilities involving infrastructure, tooling, and machine learning frameworks.
- Design scalable, resilient, and agile cloud-native systems.
- Lead coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and other full software development lifecycle activities.
- Conduct system design reviews and ensure alignment with architectural standards.
- Build AI-driven applications with intelligent automation features.
- Mentor engineers and influence technical decisions and engineering practices.
- Translate complex stakeholder problems into actionable technical requirements.
- Drive data-informed continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area plus four years of software engineering or related experience, or six years of such experience.
- Expertise in platform engineering, including infrastructure, tooling, and machine learning framework development.
- Strong proficiency with cloud-native architecture principles, microservices, containers, and automation.
- Extensive software development lifecycle experience, including coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Experience with system design reviews, API design, software prototyping, and software design patterns.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, mentoring, decision-making, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Preferred: relevant master’s degree plus two years of software engineering or related experience.
- Preferred: experience with WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility practices.
