Responsibilities
- Assess product gaps, requirements, risks, change requests, and technical success metrics with stakeholders.
- Design scalable cloud-native solutions, platform capabilities, infrastructure, tooling, and ML frameworks.
- Build AI-driven applications, maintain clean code and configuration, and automate repetitive work.
- Lead testing, regression analysis, defect tracking, telemetry, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot performance and availability issues and use operational data to guide improvements.
- Lead system design reviews, mentor engineers, influence technical decisions, and promote engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area plus four years of software engineering experience, or six years of relevant experience.
- Proven expertise in cloud-native architecture, scalable systems, software design patterns, API design, and prototyping.
- Proficiency in one or more of JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, Rust, Dart, or C++.
- Experience leading the full software development lifecycle, including CI/CD, observability, testing, maintenance, and automation.
- Experience with DevOps practices, performance and availability troubleshooting, defect analysis, regression testing, and data-driven engineering improvements.
- Preferred qualifications include a master's degree with two years of relevant experience and knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
