Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using software engineering best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software for performance and reliability.
- Mentor engineers, influence architectural decisions, and provide technical leadership.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tools and stay current with emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in software engineering and strong computer science fundamentals.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages and software development frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-quality software solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience delivering efficient, reliable code.
- Experience collaborating within cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and version control systems.
- Excellent communication skills for clearly explaining technical concepts.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area and four years of software engineering or related experience, or six years of software engineering or related experience.
- Preferred: master’s degree in a related field and two years of software engineering experience.
- Preferred: knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
