Base Salary
$146k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive initiatives from problem framing through design partnership, full-stack implementation, instrumentation, rollout, and experimentation tied to product-led growth metrics.
- Build agentic onboarding flows that work inside developer IDEs and integrate with MCP servers and LLM-powered tooling.
- Instrument and analyze signup, activation, first flag, first experiment, and first paid conversion funnels, and run experiments to improve them.
- Ship MCP server capabilities and agent skills that extend LaunchDarkly into customers’ existing tools.
- Partner with product, design, data, and engineering teams to turn self-serve customer feedback into shippable experiments.
- Dogfood LaunchDarkly flags, guarded rollouts, and experimentation while providing developer-experience feedback.
- Support production applications, including participating in on-call responsibilities.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of full-stack engineering experience and a portfolio of features personally driven from idea to production.
- Production experience shipping AI-first features using MCP servers, agent frameworks, or LLM tool-use.
- Strong TypeScript and React skills, with backend experience in Go or Node; LaunchDarkly’s stack is TypeScript and Go.
- Experience moving product-led growth metrics through instrumentation, funnel analysis, and A/B testing.
- Comfort defining hypotheses, configuring flags, running experiments, interpreting results, and iterating based on evidence.
- Strong judgment about developer onboarding friction and meaningful uses of AI in developer platforms.
- Collaborative communication skills and the ability to work effectively with product and design partners.
- Genuine interest in applying agents and AI to developer-platform products.
