Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain high-performance trading algorithms and models for crypto markets.
- Collaborate with traders and quantitative analysts to translate trading strategies into efficient code.
- Optimize trading systems for speed, reliability, and scalability.
- Integrate new data sources and ensure data integrity for model inputs.
- Monitor and troubleshoot live trading systems to minimize downtime and maintain performance.
- Stay current with advances in quantitative finance, software development, and crypto markets.
- Improve development processes and tools.
- Thoughtfully adopt AI tools, generative AI, automation platforms, and data copilots to improve productivity and decision-making.
Requirements
- Experience working in algorithmic trading environments using Java.
- Knowledge of tick data analytics and real-time market data processing.
- Familiarity with cloud-based market access or hybrid deployments.
- Proven experience developing and implementing quantitative models and trading algorithms.
- Strong Java programming skills.
- Experience with high-frequency or low-latency trading systems.
- Experience working on an FX or cryptocurrency trading desk.
- Experience integrating and executing strategies on DeFi platforms, including SOL and ETH.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bonus: experience with DeFi, crypto, or market making as a service.
- Bonus: exposure to regulatory or compliance-driven environments.
- Bonus: familiarity with AWS, GCP, or DevOps processes.
