Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of customer business and IT objectives across platform engineering, cloud application development, and generative and agentic AI adoption.
- Advocate for customers by channeling feedback to engineering teams and accelerating delivery through architecture reviews, proofs of concept, MVPs, and environment setup.
- Deliver or recommend technical discussions, workshops, and cloud-readiness activities while ensuring solutions meet performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and reliability standards.
- Drive cloud and support consumption by improving customer outcomes, maximizing Microsoft investments, and resolving technical blockers through expertise and escalation processes.
- Build customer and partner relationships, identify and resolve technical challenges, and uncover opportunities based on customer needs.
- Lead technical architecture discussions and oversee pilots and implementation projects across design, build, and operations.
- Share technical insights through internal communities, conferences, seminars, meetups, webcasts, blogs, and hackathons.
- Articulate the business value, plans, and risks of proposed solutions to technical and business stakeholders.
- Create proofs of concept and minimum viable products that lead to production deployments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field plus 4+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience in cloud or infrastructure technologies, IT consulting or support, systems administration, network operations, software development or support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, or consulting.
- Preferred: 4+ years of customer-facing experience and 4+ years working on technical projects.
- Enterprise-scale experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructure, architecture design, migrations, and technology management.
- Proficiency in one or more of .NET, Java, JavaScript/Node.js, or Python and related frameworks.
- Technical expertise in cloud security, infrastructure, AI, application platforms, scalable architectures, DevOps toolchains, databases, analytics, and data governance.
- Technical cloud certification, such as Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, or security certification, is preferred.
Benefits
- Typical base pay range is CAD $96,000–CAD $177,600 per year across Canada.
- The position is open for a minimum of five days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until filled.
