Responsibilities
- Further develop core components of the BS2000 mainframe operating system.
- Support the software lifecycle from specification and implementation through testing, maintenance, and service support.
- Design innovative and complex IT architectures based on customer requirements.
- Collaborate in large development teams with international strategic partners.
- Create technical documentation and user-manual content.
- Support Service and Sales teams with technical expertise, including back-level maintenance and problem resolution for own modules and third-party components.
Requirements
- Completed degree, such as Computer Science, or a comparable vocational qualification in an IT-related field.
- Initial professional experience in software development, including programming and system debugging.
- Preferably experience with Assembler, C/C++, and scripting languages.
- Experience with the software development lifecycle, source code management, and continuous integration.
- Strong analytical skills, flexibility, creativity, and a customer- and service-oriented mindset.
- Very good German language skills and good English language skills.
