Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain native iOS and Android applications for high-quality streaming.
- Contribute to TV platform applications like Apple TV, Fire TV/Android TV, and Roku.
- Define API contracts and server-driven UI patterns with BFF engineers.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity.
- Drive architectural decisions for the native platform.
- Translate business objectives into technical work with product and design teams.
- Collaborate with team members and contractors on quality standards.
- Identify and address technical debt affecting platform stability.
- Champion best practices in app security and release quality.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Swift and Kotlin with experience in production mobile applications.
- Deep understanding of native mobile development patterns and architecture.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot.
- Familiarity with live streaming and media-rich application development.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and collaboration on API design.
- Familiarity with mobile CI/CD pipelines and tooling.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
