Base Salary

$133k - $157k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain software and AI-enabled products.
  • Build production-ready code, services, AI workflows, RAG pipelines, and agentic AI systems.
  • Integrate vector databases and support semantic search and AI-powered retrieval.
  • Apply architectural, scalability, reliability, performance, cost, security, privacy, compliance, and responsible AI practices.
  • Troubleshoot software and AI components, investigate model and output quality issues, and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Participate in code reviews, prototypes, proofs of concept, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, data, business, vendors, and other stakeholders to deliver incremental features.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Six to eight years of relevant software engineering experience.
  • At least 10 years of overall software development experience using Python and Java or other object-oriented languages.
  • At least three years leading software projects involving enterprise-level solutions.
  • Two to three years of containerization and orchestration experience with Docker and Kubernetes, plus experience with Bedrock, LLMs, and vector databases.
  • Two to three years of hands-on generative AI experience, including RAG architectures, prompt engineering, and evaluation approaches.
  • Experience building and integrating vector databases such as FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate, OpenSearch, or Azure AI Search.
  • Experience building AI applications with LangChain and LangGraph and orchestrating complex agent workflows and RAG pipelines.
  • Two to three years of experience building data-driven APIs and services using Python.
  • Exposure to agentic AI, knowledge graphs, graph databases, modern UI frameworks such as React, and AI integration into user-facing applications is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of software development lifecycle and DevOps practices, algorithms, data structures, architectural patterns, responsible AI, and regulated-environment guardrails.
  • Ability to communicate technical decisions and collaborate across engineering, product, data, business, and stakeholder teams.
