Base Salary
$133k - $157k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain software and AI-enabled products.
- Develop production-ready code for software components, services, and AI workflows.
- Build and integrate generative AI solutions, including RAG pipelines using vector databases.
- Develop and enhance agentic AI systems that plan, reason, retrieve information, and invoke tools under guardrails.
- Apply architectural patterns and best practices for scalability, reliability, performance, cost, security, privacy, and compliance.
- Troubleshoot software and model/output quality issues, perform root-cause analysis, and propose fixes.
- Participate in code reviews, prototypes, proofs of concept, and continuous improvement activities.
- Communicate progress, blockers, risks, design decisions, and results with technical and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Six to eight years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Ten or more years of overall software development experience in Python and Java or another object-oriented language.
- Three or more years leading software projects involving enterprise-level solutions.
- Two to three years of containerization and orchestration experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Two to three years of hands-on experience with generative AI use cases, RAG architectures, prompt engineering, and evaluation approaches.
- Experience building and integrating vector databases such as FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate, OpenSearch, or Azure AI Search.
- Experience building Python data-driven APIs and services.
- Practical experience building AI applications with LangChain and LangGraph, including complex agent workflows and RAG pipelines.
- Exposure to agentic AI, knowledge graphs, graph databases, modern UI frameworks such as React, and AI integration into user-facing applications is preferred.
- Understanding of algorithms, data structures, architectural design patterns, software development practices, responsible AI, guardrails, and regulated-environment considerations.
- Ability to collaborate across engineering, product, data, business, vendor, and stakeholder teams and communicate technical decisions clearly.
