Responsibilities
- Design scalable, secure, and production-ready AI architectures aligned with business and technical objectives.
- Lead solution architecture, prototyping, technical design, architecture documentation, and implementation roadmaps for AI and Generative AI initiatives.
- Partner with data, platform, integration, and application teams to embed AI capabilities into enterprise systems.
- Guide engineering teams on implementation approaches, best practices, and architecture standards.
- Develop enterprise AI platform capabilities that support multiple business use cases.
- Establish integration patterns between AI solutions and enterprise applications such as SAP and Salesforce.
- Ensure compliance with AI governance, security, risk management, and responsible AI standards.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies, external partners, and proof-of-value opportunities.
- Present architecture strategies and recommendations to business and technology leadership.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing and delivering production AI/ML solutions in enterprise environments.
- Strong background in AI architecture, platform design, and enterprise technology integration.
- Hands-on experience with Large Language Models, Generative AI solutions, and modern AI frameworks.
- Deep understanding of the machine learning lifecycle, including training, deployment, inference, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Experience architecting cloud-based AI solutions using AWS and/or GCP.
- Ability to rapidly prototype solutions and guide teams through production implementation.
- Experience integrating AI platforms with enterprise systems and data ecosystems.
- Knowledge of AI governance, security controls, responsible AI practices, and risk management frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-focused outcomes.
- Demonstrated success collaborating across architecture, engineering, product, and leadership teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Advanced degree, AI/ML/cloud/data certifications, Databricks certification, AWS certification, or GCP certification are desirable.
- Experience with Databricks, modern data platform architectures, Azure, SAP, Salesforce, Avaya, utility industry environments, or conversational, voice, or agentic AI is beneficial.
