Base Salary
$108k - $149k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and execute manual and automated testing for software features, integrations, enhancements, and system changes.
- Develop and maintain test strategies, test plans, standards, procedures, test cases, execution results, defect records, and quality metrics.
- Analyze test outcomes, defect patterns, and system behavior to identify quality risks and drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with development engineers, product teams, and other stakeholders to resolve complex technical issues and improve product quality.
- Expand and maintain automated test coverage and create structured test scenarios, including Gherkin-based scenarios where applicable.
- Lead or technically guide test projects and major workstreams involving complex systems and cross-functional coordination.
- Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups, test estimation, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Significant professional experience in software quality assurance within a development environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, automated test design, and test execution.
- Knowledge of Agile software development and experience working in Agile environments.
- Ability to develop test strategies, analyze requirements, design test coverage, document results, and drive defect resolution.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders on complex systems.
- Preferred: experience writing Gherkin test scenarios.
- Preferred: SmartBear TestComplete experience.
- Preferred: familiarity with functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Preferred: experience developing test automation frameworks and scripts using Python and knowledge of Python-based testing tools and libraries.
