Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications and SDKs for continuous glucose monitoring products.
- Implement application requirements and create or update design documentation.
- Evaluate and implement technologies that improve development efficiency.
- Collaborate with software testing teams to ensure product quality.
- Develop automated unit and integration tests.
- Participate in design, code, and test reviews and provide technical leadership.
- Propose and implement application enhancements that improve sustainability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.
- At least five years of professional software development experience.
- At least two years of native Android application development experience using Kotlin.
- Experience with Android operating systems, multithreaded environments, and SDK-layer development.
- Experience with Agile teams, Jira, and Confluence.
- Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and SonarQube.
- Experience with version control tools including Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, and GitFlow.
- Experience writing automated tests with Espresso and JUnit.
- Working knowledge of MVC, MVVM, and MVP design patterns.
- High diligence in documentation, testing, and coding.
- Alternatively, a master’s degree with two to five years of equivalent experience may qualify.
