Responsibilities
- Analyze legacy application architectures built with .NET, ASP.NET, Web Forms, and .NET Framework.
- Identify critical dependencies, integration points, migration risks, and impacts on databases, APIs, and core systems.
- Design progressive or big-bang migration strategies, roadmaps, phases, objectives, and Strangler Pattern approaches.
- Define target architectures using Java Spring Boot, microservices, RESTful APIs, optimized data models, middleware, and messaging queues.
- Lead application reengineering while preserving business logic and improving performance.
- Use Spring Security and Hibernate in redesigned Java components.
- Implement CI/CD processes for automated deployments and testing.
- Ensure compliance with banking security standards and implement authentication and authorization using OAuth2, JWT, or SAML.
- Migrate applications to AWS, Azure, or GCP and use Docker and Kubernetes for scalable deployments.
- Define Java development standards, document architectural decisions, and drive adoption of governance guidelines.
Requirements
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Proactive attitude and good interpersonal disposition.
- Experience assessing and migrating legacy .NET applications, including ASP.NET, Web Forms, and .NET Framework.
- Ability to design Java Spring Boot architectures and define microservices, API, integration, cloud, and containerization strategies.
- Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, Spring Security, Hibernate, OAuth2, JWT, SAML, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Knowledge of banking security and compliance standards including ISO 27001, OWASP, and PCI-DSS.
