Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated and manual test cases.
- Apply test classification approaches based on access level, purpose, and execution type.
- Implement testing strategies using the Test Pyramid, Testing Honeycomb, and Testing Trophy.
- Perform API testing, including authentication and authorization validation.
- Develop and maintain UI test automation.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with developers and DevOps engineers to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Analyze test results and produce reports for stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with API testing, including authentication and authorization concepts.
- Experience with UI test automation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, preferably GitLab CI or Jenkins.
- Understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with Groovy, preferably, or Java; Selenium or Selenide; Maven; reporting tools such as Allure; and BDD tools such as Cucumber or Spock.
- Experience building scalable automated testing frameworks is preferred.
- Knowledge of performance or security testing is preferred.
