Responsibilities
- Build scalable, statistically rigorous solutions for embedded systems, autonomous cars, industrial applications, robotics, and retail.
- Develop computer vision, statistical, classical AI, SLAM, robotics, forecasting, optimization, experimentation, and capacity-constraint models.
- Define problem statements, collect data, build analytical models, and make recommendations with cross-functional teams.
- Extract, clean, analyze, present, and visualize medium-to-large datasets.
- Communicate recommendations and discuss use cases and requirements with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Robotics, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- 5+ years of industry or graduate research experience solving analytical problems and building quantitative, statistical, or machine learning models.
- Recent college graduates or candidates about to graduate may also be considered if they demonstrate strong AI-related work.
- Experience with machine learning, statistics, data analysis, scientific computing, statistical methods, and data visualization.
- Experience with at least one programming language, including Python, R, C++, or C.
- Experience with scientific-computing and analysis packages such as NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, dplyr, or ggplot2.
- Experience with machine learning libraries such as PyTorch, Caffe2, TensorFlow, Keras, or Theano.
- Nice-to-have experience with Kubernetes, experiment orchestration, ETL pipelines, embedded development, constrained platforms, ARM64, microcontrollers, DevOps, and firmware development.
