Responsibilities
- Translate stakeholder goals into AI/ML and generative AI architecture strategies and implementation roadmaps.
- Design and develop scalable, high-performing distributed cloud-based SaaS applications and AI-centric solutions.
- Evaluate technologies, deployment models, costs, and integrations with existing infrastructure.
- Lead technical reviews, design approvals, governance, and continuous improvement across AI applications.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, application architects, data scientists, MLOps engineers, DevOps teams, security teams, and business stakeholders.
- Ensure AI solutions meet data privacy, security, ethical AI, reliability, scalability, and regulatory requirements.
- Architect ML-serving microservices, model lifecycles, and cloud-based AI/ML workloads.
- Build stakeholder relationships and contribute to RFI/RFP responses, proposals, and other business development activities.
- Lead, mentor, coach, and train diverse technical teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of software development experience and 3+ years of experience as an AI Architect.
- Demonstrated experience in software architecture, stakeholder presentations, technical reviews, and enterprise-integrated end-to-end solutions.
- Expertise designing scalable and performant AI/ML systems, with a strong foundation in data science and AI/ML concepts.
- Experience with TensorFlow, Keras, scikit-learn, PyTorch, cloud AI/ML platforms, and third-party AI platforms.
- Hands-on experience deploying AI/ML workloads using platforms such as AWS Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, Google Vertex AI, PaLM, Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, Databricks, Snowflake Snowpark/Cortex, Dataiku, or DataRobot.
- Experience with serverless technologies, containerization, cloud infrastructure, generative AI, foundational model hosting, LLM architectures, fine-tuning, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search.
- Strong Python coding skills and experience with LangChain and LangGraph.
- Experience implementing MLOps practices and using platforms such as MLflow, Kubeflow, KServe, Seldon, DVC, Comet ML, Vertex AI, and SageMaker.
- Experience building microservices-based applications using an API-first approach for serving ML models.
- Knowledge of SQL databases, data warehouses, data lakes, DevOps, CI/CD, test automation, and Agile software development methodologies.
- Professional AI/ML cloud certifications are required or expected; AWS Solutions Architect certifications are an asset.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, cross-functional collaboration, leadership, coaching, facilitation, program delivery, and proposal development skills.
