Responsibilities
- Create, update, and maintain automated ECU-TEST packages for smoke testing and ECU flashing procedures.
- Build and maintain standard test generators for engineering test-case creation.
- Implement automated routines for signal mapping and configuration checks across ECU software builds.
- Analyze test logs, troubleshoot failed tests, identify root causes, and fix automation scripts with senior engineers.
- Integrate test packages with Jenkins-based automated build and release pipelines.
- Learn automotive communication protocols and advanced ECU-TEST functionality.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Communication Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of at least one scripting language, with Python highly preferred.
- Basic knowledge of software testing methodologies; ISTQB Foundation is a plus.
- Basic understanding of CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS, and XCP/CCP automotive protocols.
- Knowledge of TraceTronic ECU-TEST, Vector CANoe or CANalyzer, or HIL/SIL environments.
- Basic knowledge of Git and CI/CD concepts.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and willingness to learn.
