Responsibilities
- Design and review detailed requirements, software specifications, and MBD architectural designs.
- Apply MBD standards, guidelines, processes, and checklists.
- Perform fixed-point data typing for model signals and blocks.
- Generate C code using Embedded Coder.
- Develop MATLAB testing scenarios and perform model-in-the-loop and software-in-the-loop verification.
- Develop tools to improve MBD lifecycle efficiency and quality.
- Manage software function lists, delivery phases, traceability, risks, and issues.
- Conduct technical reviews, provide training, and coach team members on MBD methodology.
- Communicate with customers and team members and report project progress.
- Use configuration management tools and deliver software on time and within budget.
Requirements
- 0–3 years of relevant experience.
- B.Sc. in Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering; M.Sc. or Ph.D. is a plus.
- Proven very good MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow scripting and modeling skills.
- Good knowledge of control law and thermodynamics.
- Good knowledge of software engineering across requirements, design, development, verification, and validation.
- Basic electronics knowledge.
- Experience with automatic control, motor drives, and electric motors is a plus.
- Knowledge of Automotive SPICE is a plus.
