Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, document, and trace software requirements for power control, diagnostics, and communication features.
- Break down system specifications into clear, testable software requirements.
- Integrate software components, drivers, and application code into functional embedded software builds.
- Maintain build environments, automation scripts, CI/CD pipelines, source repositories, branching strategies, and release tags.
- Flash integrated software onto OBC and DCDC hardware, perform initial bring-up, and conduct smoke tests.
- Support software architecture and detailed design documentation and participate in design and code reviews.
- Investigate and resolve integration issues, build failures, and on-target problems.
- Coordinate across systems engineering, hardware design, software development, and validation teams.
- Contribute to software lifecycle process improvements aligned with A-SPICE.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in embedded software development, software integration, or systems engineering.
- Solid C programming skills and proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as Python.
- Experience with Git, embedded build systems such as Make or CMake, and embedded compilers and linkers.
- Understanding of the full software development lifecycle, including V-Model and Agile/Scrum.
- Experience with software architecture and design modeling.
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture, including RTE configuration.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience includes automotive power electronics involving OBCs, DCDC converters, or inverters.
- Preferred experience includes Polarion, Jenkins, UDS, DTCs, CAN, LIN, ISO 26262, A-SPICE, Infineon Aurix, Lauterbach TRACE32, UDE, and MATLAB/Simulink.
