Responsibilities
- Design and deliver end-to-end blockchain and digital asset solutions for banking and custody use cases.
- Architect secure, scalable platforms integrating blockchain with core banking systems.
- Define technical architecture including API design and data flows.
- Make platform-level design decisions on deployment models and security protocols.
- Evaluate and select appropriate blockchain platforms based on client needs.
- Ensure solutions meet cryptographic security standards and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure architectures are buildable and operable.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams.
- Identify and escalate architectural risks and performance bottlenecks.
- Mentor junior architects and developers on blockchain best practices.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in solution architecture or enterprise system implementation.
- Strong understanding of blockchain technology and distributed systems.
- Experience designing platforms in regulated financial services environments.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Deep expertise in API-based architectures and microservices.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols and encryption mechanisms.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting technical concepts.
- Self-starter with collaborative work experience across teams.
- Fluency in Swiss German, German, and English; French and/or Italian is a plus.
