Base Salary
$150k - $400k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain tools and software components for offloading, storing, manipulating, and accessing robot data.
- Architect and manage storage and compute resources across on-premise and cloud environments at massive scale.
- Implement data transmission and storage solutions across the pipeline from robot-data recording through neural-network training.
- Collaborate with AI researchers to support new data workflows.
- Provide production support for the data infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of professional, full-time experience building reliable backend systems.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with Linux and command line tools.
- Experience with Python.
- Experience using and managing data stores such as Postgres, MySQL, ElasticSearch, and Redis.
- Bonus: experience managing AWS, Azure, or GCP infrastructure.
- Bonus: experience with SLURM, Kubernetes, or LSF job scheduling and orchestration tools.
- Bonus: experience with Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or Chef configuration management tools.
- Bonus: experience building data annotation and dataset management tools.
