Responsibilities
- Provide cloud and platform engineering consulting and delivery services across cloud architecture, cloud engineering, infrastructure-as-code, DevOps, SRE, and security.
- Qualify complex or unclear client needs and challenge requirements to define appropriate solutions.
- Lead strategic presales processes, including response structuring, planning, team design, estimation, proposal development, and client presentations.
- Structure consulting approaches with clear objectives, deliverables, workshops, and roadmaps adapted to client maturity.
- Coordinate technical experts and build realistic delivery arrangements.
- Contribute to R&D, technology watch, and best-practice development in areas including platform engineering, GitOps, SRE, sovereignty, resilience, and cloud security.
- Train and mentor teams and help disseminate expertise within OCTO.
Requirements
- Solid experience in one or more of cloud architecture, DevOps, infrastructure-as-code, SRE, or security.
- Concrete experience in presales, including qualification, response structuring, estimation, and presentation defense.
- Ability to understand, qualify, and challenge complex client needs.
- Ability to build structured consulting approaches with defined steps, deliverables, and work plans.
- Understanding of mission roles such as architect, engagement director, and expert.
- Ability to produce compelling materials and present proposals orally.
- Experience coordinating experts and constructing realistic delivery models.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with technical, business, and commercial stakeholders.
- Strong persuasion, listening, communication, and technical popularization skills.
- Autonomy in leading presales activities, collaborative working style, adaptability, curiosity, and ability to connect teams with the market.
- Minimum C1 French proficiency.
