Responsibilities
- Own infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, databases, and systems supporting product engineers.
- Investigate complex reliability and scaling issues across applications, databases, load balancers, and infrastructure.
- Build and improve internal developer tooling with a product-oriented approach.
- Improve observability and help engineers understand system behavior.
- Rethink and maintain Terraform modules and unblock product engineers.
- Work with a small three-person platform team and operate with high autonomy.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ownership and initiative in identifying and solving engineering problems.
- Strong platform engineering and troubleshooting ability across applications, databases, load balancers, and infrastructure.
- Strong observability skills and interest in understanding system behavior.
- Ability to build developer tooling focused on the experience of its users.
- Comfort working autonomously in a small team.
- Interest in security, cloud, and developer experience.
