Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient cloud environments.
- Build infrastructure automation and DevOps practices for client product teams.
- Implement cloud security, compliance, IAM, monitoring, and observability practices.
- Automate routine operational tasks and promote standardized tools, processes, and configurations.
- Optimize cloud operating costs through FinOps practices without compromising performance or reliability.
- Advise clients, product teams, and stakeholders on infrastructure requirements and solutions.
- Build new infrastructure and platforms or integrate existing client infrastructure.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in cloud, infrastructure, or DevOps roles; the posting notes these competencies often take 7+ years to accumulate but states there is no hard experience limit.
- Production experience with AWS, preferably alongside GCP, including multi-account environments, networking, security, IAM, and monitoring.
- Experience with at least one infrastructure-as-code tool such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Scripting or programming skills for automation using Python, Go, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong CI/CD experience with tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
- Practical observability experience with tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, or OpenSearch.
- Understanding of application architectures and ability to read and reason about code to debug platform issues.
- Hands-on cloud cost optimization and FinOps experience.
- Experience implementing cloud security best practices aligned with industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Customer-oriented approach and experience partnering closely with clients and stakeholders.
- Fluency in English.
