Responsibilities
- Own technical subjects from solution exploration through implementation.
- Design systems that account for scale and hyper-growth.
- Review peers’ work and help prevent bugs from reaching production.
- Improve engineering standards and development tooling.
- Participate in product and engineering system design discussions.
Requirements
- Engineering degree or equivalent.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Professional software development experience with Go, Java, Scala, Python, or similar languages.
- Familiarity with systems and patterns used to build solutions at scale.
- Strong English communication and writing skills.
- Attention to detail and a high standard for production code quality.
- Interest in creating excellent user experiences and empathy for users.
- Nice-to-have experience with Go and/or React-TypeScript, distributed systems, Kubernetes, and event-driven systems.
