Base Salary
$200k - $350k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and operate the infrastructure for Console’s cloud-hosted platform across AWS and Kubernetes.
- Architect and ship a scalable self-hosted version of Console for enterprise customers.
- Own core infrastructure components that need to scale with customer complexity.
- Design deployment patterns for reliable operation across hosted and customer-hosted environments.
- Partner with customer-facing teams to translate deployment requirements into infrastructure improvements.
- Improve observability, reliability, and operational tooling as Console scales.
- Make foundational architecture decisions to enhance engineering speed without compromising stability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, backend, platform, or distributed systems engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with IaC tools like Pulumi or Terraform.
- Proficient in a modern TypeScript/Node/React codebase.
- Experience building and operating production-grade systems with a focus on reliability and scale.
- Ability to reason through deployment models and operational failure modes.
- Strong ownership of systems problems and a commitment to quality.
