Base Salary

$200k - $350k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build and operate Console’s cloud-hosted infrastructure across AWS, Kubernetes, and related cloud systems.
  • Architect and deliver a scalable self-hosted deployment model for enterprise customers with strict data, security, and infrastructure requirements.
  • Own graph, search, queueing, and runtime infrastructure supporting Console’s context layer.
  • Design reliable deployment patterns across hosted and customer-hosted environments.
  • Partner with customer-facing teams to translate enterprise deployment constraints into infrastructure improvements.
  • Improve observability, reliability, incident response, and operational tooling.
  • Make foundational architecture decisions that improve engineering velocity without compromising stability.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-time experience in infrastructure, backend, platform, or distributed systems engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure, including architecture tradeoffs.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Pulumi or Terraform.
  • Comfort working in a modern TypeScript, Node, and React codebase.
  • Experience building and operating production-grade systems where reliability, scale, security, and observability mattered.
  • Ability to reason about deployment models, networking, data isolation, infrastructure constraints, and operational failure modes.
  • Strong ownership of complex systems problems and attention to reliability and quality.
