Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain the Kubernetes-based platform across Azure and GCP.
- Build and improve GitOps workflows using ArgoCD and GitHub for CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Develop self-service platform capabilities that simplify application deployment and improve developer experience.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand needs, solve platform challenges, and translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Monitor and continuously improve platform performance, reliability, and operational efficiency through automation.
- Promote platform adoption through technical guidance, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, ideally across Azure AKS and/or Google Kubernetes Engine.
- Solid knowledge of GitOps principles, ArgoCD, and CI/CD workflows in cloud-native environments.
- Experience with GitHub and collaborative development practices, including GitHub Actions or similar automation tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a quality-focused mindset, with the ability to work independently in an agile engineering environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with Backstage, Terraform, Helm, platform engineering, or SRE practices is advantageous.
