Base Salary
$160k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and ship AI application proof-of-concepts through rapid experimentation, feedback, and iteration.
- Build and integrate MCP clients and servers, foundation model fine-tuning, and multi-agent orchestration frameworks.
- Take features from concept to production by architecting data flows, writing code, containerizing services, and deploying them in secure cloud environments.
- Partner with product managers, designers, engineers, and data scientists to develop scalable AI systems from business problems.
- Develop production-grade data pipelines connecting data to and from AI systems.
- Maintain internal development tools, CI/CD scripts, evaluation harnesses, dashboards, and secure sandbox environments.
- Monitor AI systems and support explainability, ethical, regulatory, and performance standards.
- Evaluate emerging AI/ML technologies and open-source frameworks and share best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong Python software development skills and experience with LangChain, LangGraph, agent SDKs, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, PySpark, Polars, or Pandas.
- Experience with MLflow, Sentry, RAG systems, memory systems, MCP servers, agent skills, and model tradeoffs.
- Ability to use AI development tools such as Cursor and Claude Code for rapid development.
- Familiarity with Docker, AWS, and GitHub Actions for containerization and cloud deployment.
- Demonstrated ability to ship high-quality, production-ready ML/AI systems under tight iteration cycles.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with interest in high-stakes or regulated domains.
