Responsibilities
- Automate SRE toil and develop scripts, dashboards, reports, and deployment agents.
- Design, build, deploy, administer, and troubleshoot infrastructure across data centers and multi-cloud environments.
- Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code templates, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployments.
- Monitor application availability, capacity, performance, Docker environments, container images, and observability signals.
- Investigate repeated failures, technical debt, performance issues, and operational waste, and implement remediation.
- Coordinate vendors, external partners, application teams, stakeholders, and support activities.
- Support compliance requirements and enterprise monitoring and management activities.
- Lead project delivery, manage contracts and agreements, coordinate teams, and make decisions across multiple teams.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of Site Reliability Engineering and infrastructure experience in multi-cloud environments; the posting also cites a minimum of 5 years for the project role.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, infrastructure as code, cloud networking, IaaS/PaaS, containers, and cloud-native technology.
- Strong coding and automation experience with Python, PowerShell, Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, Git, JSON, Puppet, and related tools.
- Experience designing, implementing, deploying, and supporting at least two end-to-end SRE projects.
- At least two years of technical exposure to Docker design, build, and deployment.
- Experience with monitoring, observability, enterprise management tools, CI/CD, and the full end-to-end DevOps lifecycle.
- Knowledge of IT service management, project management methodologies, contract management, and contract negotiation.
- Data center and cloud certification exposure is required, with Splunk and additional observability tooling listed as advantages.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, team leadership, motivation, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
- A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required.
