Base Salary

Responsibilities

  • Lead security assessments of AI/ML models, data pipelines, and AI-enabled applications.
  • Identify and mitigate risks including prompt injection, model inversion, data poisoning, adversarial inputs, jailbreaks, and model-supply-chain threats.
  • Partner with Engineering and Data & Analytics to embed security requirements and threat modeling into the AI development lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain production guardrails, monitoring, and detection controls for AI systems.
  • Review third-party AI tools, APIs, LLM providers, and vendors before integration.
  • Lead incident response for AI-related security events and investigate suspicious outputs or data exposure.
  • Design standards for secure and responsible AI use, including training and inference data handling.
  • Test access controls, encryption, and data segmentation for AI systems.
  • Use AI tools to support security testing, code review, and threat research.
  • Document findings, risk assessments, and remediation plans for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of security engineering or application security experience, including hands-on experience securing AI/ML systems or LLM-based applications.
  • Deep knowledge of AI/ML security risks, including the OWASP Top 10 for LLMs, adversarial machine learning, and data poisoning.
  • Hands-on experience with SAST, DAST, vulnerability scanning, and scripting in Python or a similar language.
  • Understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP infrastructure and the deployment and security of AI/ML workloads.
  • Ability to communicate technical security risks clearly to non-security stakeholders.
  • Preferred experience in regulated healthcare or life sciences environments, including HIPAA or HITRUST.
  • Preferred familiarity with MITRE ATLAS, Garak, or promptfoo.
  • Security certifications such as OSCP, GCIH, or CISSP are preferred.
  • Experience red-teaming or penetration-testing AI/ML systems is preferred.
