Responsibilities
- Build AI-powered automations to streamline Cyber Threat Intelligence processes.
- Coordinate with security operations and incident response teams to improve detection capabilities and support investigations and incident response.
- Analyze threat intelligence reports to create detection and prevention signatures, queries, and analytics.
- Analyze vulnerabilities for potential impact and attack vectors.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret threat intelligence from multiple sources.
- Perform advanced static and dynamic malware analysis and use automated malware analysis platforms.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in information security, computer science, computer forensics, or information assurance.
- Familiarity with AI integration into workflows and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
- Experience with threat intelligence collection, analysis, and interpretation.
- Experience in incident response, digital forensics, security engineering, security operations, computer network operations, information operations, information warfare, or related cyber disciplines.
- Intermediate knowledge of Cyber Kill Chain and Diamond Model of Intrusion Analysis tradecraft.
- Experience with multiple scripting languages, including Python and PowerShell.
- Familiarity with Linux and the Linux terminal.
- Experience with SIEM, log aggregation, host and network log sources, investigation methodologies, and targeted attack TTPs.
- Knowledge of attacker tactics, techniques, procedures, attack vectors, and vulnerabilities.
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field, or related work experience.
- Relevant GIAC or other technical industry certifications and threat intelligence coursework are preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, intelligence community experience, and cloud environment experience are preferred.
