Responsibilities
- Build AI agent workflows for alert triage, threat modeling, evidence collection, and guided incident response with human-in-the-loop guardrails.
- Design and implement secure-by-default AWS cloud foundations covering IAM least privilege, encryption, network segmentation, and automated guardrails.
- Build CI/CD automation with GitHub Actions, Terraform, and container security tooling, including SAST, DAST, SCA, SBOMs, and artifact signing.
- Conduct threat modeling and security architecture reviews across microservices, APIs, Kubernetes, and AI/LLM applications.
- Automate audit readiness and operational workflows for SOC 2, FedRAMP, ISO 27001, and related frameworks.
- Partner with developers and engineering teams to address security challenges and integrate vulnerability scanning into software delivery.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience in cloud security, application security, or software engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience securing AWS multi-account environments with IAM policies, SCPs, WAF, KMS, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, and Security Hub.
- Hands-on scripting and automation experience with Python or Go/Bash, Terraform, and GitHub Actions.
- Experience with security architecture reviews, threat modeling, and vulnerability scanning in software delivery lifecycles.
- Comfort using AI coding assistants and modern developer tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and LLMs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with experience partnering empathetically with developers.
- Preferred experience securing generative AI applications, implementing prompt guardrails and agent permissions, automating audit evidence, using SBOMs and artifact signing, and performing SIEM logging, detection engineering, and incident triage.
