Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain AI-driven features and pipelines serving enterprise customers at scale.
- Architect and implement agent-based workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, or equivalent orchestration frameworks.
- Own AI systems end-to-end from experimentation through production deployment and monitoring.
- Build and improve evaluation pipelines to measure, validate, and iterate on AI system performance.
- Develop unified retrieval strategies combining RAG, graph-based retrieval, and other approaches.
- Build robust agentic workflows that handle edge cases, missing data, escalation to humans, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints.
- Integrate agents with external platforms so they can execute workflows and take action.
- Collaborate with the founding team and cross-functional product, data, and GTM partners.
- Shape the technical direction of the AI stack as the company scales.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering skills with clean, testable, production-ready code.
- Hands-on experience building with LangChain, LangGraph, or equivalent agent and orchestration frameworks.
- Ability to communicate technical decisions and architectural tradeoffs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong ownership, initiative, adaptability, and comfort working under ambiguity in an early-stage startup environment.
- Backend software engineering experience, including APIs, services, data infrastructure, or production systems, is a strong plus.
- Experience building evaluation pipelines and systematic metrics-driven evaluations is a strong plus.
- Exposure to retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, or LLM-powered search and recommendation systems is a strong plus.
- Experience at an early-stage startup or high-growth environment is a strong plus.
