Base Salary
$69k - $158k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement end-to-end features across React, Angular, or Vue front-end frameworks and Python, Java, or Node.js back-end microservices.
- Build, enhance, and integrate FastAPI, RESTful, gRPC, or GraphQL APIs.
- Develop scalable Docker-based workloads orchestrated with Kubernetes.
- Support AWS or Azure cloud deployments using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Contribute to automated testing, code quality enforcement, GitLab or GitHub CI/CD pipelines, and security scanning.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, peer code reviews, and user-focused design discussions.
- Integrate data, machine-learning-enabled, and analytical pipeline components into mission workflows.
- Troubleshoot full-stack issues and contribute to team-wide engineering improvements.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of full-stack software development experience.
- Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
- Experience with a front-end framework or with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience developing or consuming REST, gRPC, or GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with Docker or Podman and Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift.
- Experience deploying applications to AWS or Azure.
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, or SQLite.
- Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph exam.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Preferred experience includes microservices, event-driven architectures, Kafka, SNS/SQS, synthetic data, analytical models, machine-learning pipelines, Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, distributed search systems, user-centered design, reusable component libraries, and AI-augmented development tools.
- A master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Candidates must complete Booz Allen’s required skills assessment and meet the minimum proficiency threshold.
