Base Salary
$120k - $135k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own features from concept through production.
- Design, build, and evolve Java services, modules, and APIs for high-volume tracking, data, and commerce workflows.
- Create and maintain screens that configure and drive backend data processing.
- Make technical decisions across service boundaries, relational data, asynchronous processing, reliability, and operational performance.
- Investigate and resolve production issues.
- Integrate external APIs and build reliable consumer interfaces.
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, mentoring, and continuous team improvement.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of Java 8+, Spring frameworks, and Spring MVC.
- Experience with SQL, MySQL or another relational database management system, and JDBC.
- Expertise in vanilla JavaScript, HTML, CSS, DOM manipulation, and RESTful APIs.
- Applied experience with Vue is preferred.
- Comfort using the Linux terminal and command-line tools to troubleshoot systems.
- Clear communication, collaborative problem-solving, and a record of helping teams deliver high-quality software.
- Solid security practices involving JWTs, XSS prevention, and SQL injection prevention.
- Preferred qualifications include translating requirements into features, building interfaces from Figma or similar design mockups, production delivery with Jenkins or GitHub Actions, CDN usage, public cloud and serverless technologies with Google Cloud preferred, AI-assisted development with Claude Code, and the Affiliate & Partnerships Industry Fundamentals Certification by PXA.
