Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver AI-driven enterprise-quality software applications.
- Build scalable applications integrating large language models, voice recognition, document parsing, image parsing, text-to-speech, and RAG into new and legacy codebases.
- Design and optimize data pipelines and datasets for AI system development and testing.
- Develop prompts, prompt caching strategies, prompt libraries, benchmarks, RAG systems, AI agents, copilot experiences, and autonomous workflows.
- Fine-tune and serve GPT-family and Llama models and optimize AI system performance and cost.
- Communicate modern AI concepts to non-technical audiences and collaborate with technical, DevOps, product management, and external stakeholders.
- Fully document work at both code and application levels.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience developing AI-enhanced applications using LLMs, voice, image, or speech models.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with AI system evaluation metrics including precision, recall, F1-score, and AUC-ROC.
- Experience building RAG systems with LangChain or LlamaIndex and using vector databases.
- Expertise in LLM cost optimization through prompt caching, batching, and quantization.
- Deep understanding of LLM advances, including GPT-3.5, GPT-4, and o1 or thinking models, for model selection and tuning.
- Exceptional analytical skills and experience using AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Codeium, or Windsurf.
- Proficiency in Python and AI-related Python libraries including OpenAI, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
- Healthcare-domain expertise and the ability to translate clinical or business needs into AI solutions.
- Proficiency creating Node.js web applications, such as with Express.js.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, as well as Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
