Base Salary
$112k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build APIs and microservices supporting a scalable healthcare platform.
- Contribute to frontend development with ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Support technical architecture, feature development, platform improvements, and healthcare partner integrations.
- Write unit and integration tests, troubleshoot performance issues, and apply algorithmic practices.
- Apply secure programming practices and support data protection compliance.
- Contribute to deployment automation and technical documentation while collaborating with a globally distributed team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 4 years of software development experience.
- Strong Java and Spring Boot fundamentals with confident backend development skills.
- Experience with ReactJS or another frontend framework.
- Experience developing APIs and microservices and understanding enterprise software architecture and n-tier applications.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Preferred qualifications include healthcare interoperability experience with HL7, FHIR, or SMART on FHIR; AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform exposure; and experience with relational or NoSQL databases, deployment pipelines, or DevOps practices.
