Multi-Cloud CDN Data Platform Engineer Intern (Global Engineering CDN) - 2026 Fall (BS/MS)
ByteDanceResponsibilities
- Assist in building CDN data pipelines, dashboards, reports, and data-quality checks.
- Analyze CDN traffic, performance, cost, resource usage, and vendor data.
- Improve the visibility and usability of CDN operational and business data.
- Support data-driven platform governance, cost optimization, and operational efficiency analysis.
- Learn CDN data models, metrics, and business scenarios with guidance from mentors.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Electronic Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, Go, or Scala.
- Basic understanding of data structures, databases, SQL, or data processing concepts.
- Interest in data platforms, data analytics, cloud infrastructure, or network data.
- Strong learning ability, analytical thinking, and attention to data quality.
- Course projects, research projects, internships, or open-source experience in data systems, backend development, or analytics are preferred.
- Familiarity with SQL, Python-based analysis, data visualization, dashboard development, Spark, Flink, Hive, Kafka, ClickHouse, or Doris is preferred but not required.
