Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain prompt-level security controls and guardrails for GenAI and agentic applications.
- Develop Python-based scripts, programs, automation, detections, and policy enforcement for AI applications.
- Build automated evaluation harnesses and regression test suites for prompt and agent behavior.
- Integrate prompt-security controls and tests into CI/CD pipelines and engineering workflows.
- Create reusable libraries, SDKs, and templates for secure prompting and safe tool use.
- Enforce identity, PHI/PII, least-privilege, and data-protection controls at prompt and tool-invocation layers.
- Document secure-prompting and agentic-development practices and drive adoption across engineering teams.
- Operationalize automated AI red-team and security-posture findings into fixes and detections.
- Research and pilot prompt-security and LLM-defense tooling aligned with applicable frameworks and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
- At least 3 years of experience in software engineering, security engineering, AI/ML, or platform engineering in a large enterprise setting.
- Strong Python, scripting, programming, automation, testing, version-control, and CI/CD skills.
- Knowledge of GenAI/LLM and agentic systems, secure MCP configuration, application/API security, and data protection.
- Cloud security fundamentals in Azure and AWS.
- Identity and Access Management fundamentals and hands-on Python development with CI/CD integration.
- Applied understanding of the NIST AI RMF and OWASP Top 10 for LLM.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain AI security risks to non-technical stakeholders.
