Responsibilities

  • Implement and operate AI security posture management across model and inference infrastructure.
  • Identify AI workload misconfigurations, drift, and risk and drive remediation.
  • Design, build, and run model-validation and evaluation harnesses for robustness, data leakage, and unexpected behavior.
  • Build and maintain inference-layer guardrails, including input/output filtering and rate and access controls.
  • Define and enforce PHI/PII, data-protection, identity, and access controls for AI systems.
  • Partner with Cloud Security to establish and validate AWS and Azure guardrails for AI workloads.
  • Develop Python-based scripts, automation, and tooling for AI security controls and automated testing.
  • Integrate AI security controls and testing into CI/CD pipelines and engineering workflows.
  • Document secure architecture patterns, anti-patterns, and model-deployment and inference guidance.
  • Research and pilot AI security tools aligned with the NIST AI RMF and transition mature monitoring to security operations teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, AI/ML, or security engineering in a large enterprise setting.
  • Strong Python programming and scripting skills for security tooling, evaluation harnesses, and automated testing.
  • Cloud security fundamentals in AWS and Azure.
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML model validation, security tooling and automation, and securing the inference layer.
  • Knowledge of machine learning concepts, secure MCP configuration, application/API security, data protection, and Identity and Access Management.
  • Applied understanding of the NIST AI RMF and related AI security frameworks.
  • Ability to communicate AI security concepts to non-technical business stakeholders.
  • Master’s degree is a plus.
