Software Engineering Intern - Summer 2027 (Austin, TX)

- Develop automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and ongoing support processes.
- Build tools and pipelines for software packaging, deployment, configuration management, and continuous delivery.
- Document development, procedures, and test plans.
- Follow security and engineering standards and help develop best practices.
- Collaborate with delivery and operations teams to identify and resolve continuous integration and delivery challenges.
- Track system and service performance across environments and escalate issues to appropriate teams.
- Use AI tools to assist with productivity, testing, and automation.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a BA/BS degree in computer science or a related field, including coursework in software development, systems, networking, and security.
- Demonstrated interest in technology, reverse engineering, and writing code to solve problems.
- Experience with Windows and Linux systems, containers, and databases.
- Experience with source code, build, deployment, orchestration, and configuration management tools.
- Experience writing code and scripts in at least one high-level programming language.
- Familiarity with public cloud architecture and technologies, preferably AWS.
- Familiarity with Agile concepts and Scrum and Kanban processes.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and verbal and written communication abilities.
- Interest in improving application security, resilience, performance, and automation.
- Familiarity with AI tools used in software development and deployment.
