Base Salary
$152k - $262k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain Dolby’s AI reference architecture, standards, principles, and design patterns.
- Own the roadmap for agentic systems platforms and translate business objectives into technical strategies and implementation plans.
- Design and implement cross-platform AI integration frameworks connecting AI capabilities with enterprise data platforms and infrastructure.
- Optimize AI compute and token usage and adapt architectural approaches to evolving AI costs.
- Solve complex architectural challenges across multiple AI and machine learning disciplines.
- Partner with Data and Infrastructure teams to align AI solutions with enterprise architecture, data strategy, and operational goals.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to AI engineers, agentics engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Build relationships with technology vendors, platform partners, and industry peers.
- Support AI governance and risk initiatives, including responsible AI, security, and compliance alignment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 8 years of experience in enterprise architecture, AI/ML engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Hands-on experience designing AI reference architectures, developing agentic systems, and integrating AI solutions across platforms and enterprise environments.
- Ability to create innovative technical solutions for complex challenges without established approaches.
- Strong understanding of enterprise data platforms, cloud infrastructure, and system architecture.
- Strong communication and influence skills for translating technical concepts to business stakeholders and executives.
- Preferred experience with AI FinOps, including cost modeling, governance, and compute optimization at scale.
- Preferred experience evaluating and integrating emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and platforms.

- Base salary ranges vary by location: San Francisco/Bay Area $190,300–$261,500 and Atlanta Area $152,200–$209,200.
