Responsibilities
- Lead the design of distributed backend services for the product suite.
- Partner with Product and Compliance to architect scalable customer data orchestration layers.
- Migrate core business logic from Salesforce to a dedicated persistence layer.
- Define best practices for API design, testing, and observability.
- Mentor fellow engineers to promote technical growth and system reliability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend solutions using Java, Kotlin, or Go.
- Proven track record of transitioning monoliths to service-oriented architectures.
- Strong skills in API design (REST/gRPC) with an operational performance mindset.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive technical strategy in complex environments.
- Experience in fintech or identity verification is a plus.
